Hidden Retreat is a fully renovated and updated single family home tucked in 2 acres in the heart of Union Pier. A quick walk will put you in downtown Union Pier and right by the lake. You might not want to use the lake when you have an inground pool, hot tub, pool house with workout equipment, screened in porch and all the other amenities you want within the confines of this well appointed retreat.
The main floor is where you will find the living space, kitchen, dining and two bedrooms. There is a wrap around deck, screened in porch, propane firepit, sonos speaker system, grill, pool area, hot tub, pool house and 2 acres surrounding yourself so you don't feel like the neighbors are close by. Upstairs, there are two queen beds in the loft space. The house has 2 TV's, sonos, wireless internet, and well appointed throughout.
The pool area has a retractable cover, gate surrounding the area and just wait until you see all the blooming flowers and landscaping to create a rather relaxing environment while sitting outside. This is one house not to miss.
We are sorry but pets are never allowed at this property.

Dan was extremely helpful. He contacted us before we left home to set up a time in which he could review opening and closing the pool cover. We did not need to call him, but we would have felt comfortable doing so.

We very much enjoyed our stay at HIDDEN RETREAT. First of all, we loved the wooded setting, the pool, pool house and everything to do with the pool. Thank you to Dan from Third Coast for coming over to demonstrate how to cover and uncover the pool. The written instructions about the pool cover were also very helpful. In fact, all of the written instructions were very useful. Please add instructions for how the showers work and how to use the microwave. We had to study these items to figure them out through trial and error. I know they may be ordinary to you, but they were novel for us.
The grill was easy to use and worked quite well. We cooked some delicious meals.
There were comfortable lounging areas on the screened in porch and the living room area. Thank you for using the slipcovers over the furniture in the living room since we would never want to dirty your furniture.
The kitchen was laid out well with ample space, dishes, glasses and utensils.
We had a very enjoyable week. Thank you.

How far away is the beach from the house?
The Townline Rd Beach in Union Pier is exactly 1.5 miles away, parking is somewhat limited however (click here for a map). The beach option with the best chance of parking at any time is the New Buffalo Public Beach at the end of Whittaker in downtown New Buffalo.

There is parking for four cars in the driveway. Street parking isn't allowed but you won't need it.

There is a bathroom, treadmill, elipitical, and some weights. You are more than welcome to use them.

Pool toys seem to come and go through out a season. Something gets popped, etc. It is best to bring items you would like to use for your time in the pool.

I am sorry but pets are not allowed at this property.
