How do I book a home?
You can enter a booking directly on this website by using the "Check Availability" box to the left or you can call our office at 269.371.2200 and a rental specialist will be glad to help you.
 
Is booking online secure?
Third Coast Vacations is committed to data security.  We utilize a variety of the latest security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place a reservation with us. We use a secure server - all supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database. It will only be accessible by those authorized with special rights to our systems who are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction is processed, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers. We do not sell or market your data ever.
 
Can I bring my pet with me?
We offer many homes that allow dogs, we just ask that your dog is non-aggressive and kept leashed for safety as there is a lot of wildlife in our area for them to chase. You can also call our office at 269.371.2200 as our rental specialists would love to help you find a home that is just right for you and your dog. Please note that we are all cat lovers but we don't have any houses that will accept cats. 
 
What are the benefits of a vacation home rental?
Our vacation homes are set up so that you always feel like you are coming "home" to your "vacation home" rather than returning to a generic hotel room. Our homes have full kitchens and a variety of amenities that are accurately described on our site. You will be able to enjoy a full service home while you are on vacation rather than a small, cramped hotel room.  Please check each home listing page to see details on what it has to offer. 

Check-in and check-out times
Our normal check-in time is 10:00 AM Eastern and our normal check-out time is 4:00 PM Eastern. We always want to help you by adding some time to your stay but it it somewhat impossible during the summer due to the tight housekeeping schedule. We strive to be more flexible in the off season, so if you are traveling after Labor Day weekend or prior to Memorial Day weekend then please feel free to reach out to ask about an early check-in or late check-out! 

Linens and bath towels
All of our homes will be fully supplied with linens and bath towels for you and your group based upon the occupancy number that you list in your reservation.

Beach towels
Some of our houses will have a stash of beach towels but they come and go too quickly to be promised. Please make sure to bring your own!

Supplies
We will stock the house for you with a starter supply of hand soap, dish soap, detergent (laundry and dishwasher), paper towels, bathroom tissue, shampoo, body wash, conditioner and trash bags. If you are here for a longer stay then you may need to refresh your supplies locally.

Our advertising channels
We list our houses on AirBnB, VRBO and other sites for additional exposure. These sites have their own fees that we do not have full control over, so prices will vary from site to site. The best move to save money is to book directly with us here on the Third Coast Vacations website! 

Rental agreement and terms
Please visit our Terms and Conditions page to read the standard language that we use in our guest agreements. This may differ from property to property so make sure that you read your specific agreement also. While we are on this subject, we have to make 100% sure that all of our guests sign our guest agreement before we can give out property codes for checking in. Please keep an eye on our email messages as we will share more specific details about how to sign the agreement if you booked on a site outside of this one.

Weddings, parties and events
Due to local regulations, we can't plan on any weddings or large gatherings at our houses that take your group over the occupancy number that we are advertising. We are happy to point you in the right direction of event facilites when you book with us.

Local ordinances and regulations
The majority of our houses are located in small townships or villages that have rules governing vacation rentals. We will make sure that you have the information you need if there is anything specific that you need to know. Some of these municipalities require us to let them know some basic details about your reservation to keep in compliance so please keep an eye on our emails as we may have to ask you to complete a form that we have to send to them securely.

NO SMOKING IN OUR HOMES
Please note that we can't allow any smoking or vaping at our houses; no cigarettes, no marijuana nor anything else. 

High chairs,  pack 'n plays, Maui mat rentals and more
Please visit our good friends at Weekends Harbor Country (click here) to order high chairs, pack and plays, Maui mats, beach chairs and so many other fun things. They deliver to your house and will pick up also! 

Crib rentals
