Perfect stay for a small family. Gorgeous little corner of Michigan! We roadtripped in for a week of low-key beach life and were pleasantly surprised at the comfort of our accommodations... even better than the listing photos. The space is thoughtfully updated, plenty big for our family of four (and little pup!), and was well outfitted with everything we needed to unwind and relax. One detail worth mentioning is that the space was impressively well-equipped with beach gear and baby gear: a wagon, toys, chairs, etc... this would have been great to know before we hauled a bulky wagon 400 miles that took up prized real estate in our vehicle. The space includes two pack-and-plays and lots of puzzles and books for kiddos too, very nice.Communication leading up to, throughout and concluding the stay was thorough and timely. The neighborhood is quaint and beautiful, the walk to the beach manageable enough for a pregnant mom chasing two little, excited kiddos while her husband tows the gear. :) The water was calm the first day, fairly rough the next few.For food, we enjoyed dinner Red Arrow Roadhouse and breakfast pastries from Black Currant Bakehouse. Milda's had great sandwiches for lunch and do yourself a favor and don't skip Luisa's Swedish Bakery. We also spent a day driving up to Saugatuck (just over an hour), which was a fun detour for shopping and touristing. This part of the country is simply gorgeous, largely untouched and really enjoyable. Can't wait to return!

We've stayed here a few times. It is in a great location with private beach access which we love. A nice peaceful neighborhood. We also appreciate that there are multiple spaces for families to spread out. We have young kids and after they go to bed we can easily go to the front or back of the house and continue to talk and hang out without waking the kids. The kitchen is beautifully updated and the house had everything we needed-including sound machines in the bedroom. 10/10 would recommend.

This grand parents/kids/grandkids stay was a lot of fun for all of us. The walk to the private sandy beach was very manageable for all of us. Cabin was comfortable and easily lived in for all of us. Rent-handler was very easily communicated with and quick to respond to all my worried nervous questions trying to make sure I understood everything. I probably worry too much about dotting I's and crossing T's. Not sure what next year's schedule looks like yet. But it could work out! Enjoyed the Mexican restaurant, and the Union Pier Social even more, with its outside seating on a perfect day surrounded by happy families and even some dogs. They catered to a family member's milk allergy, and he was fine. For what we wanted/needed, this was a great venue.

Third Coast Vacations was a joy to stay with. They not only made the process seamless but kept us informed along the way and provided suggestions for activities nearby (HIGHLY recommend the Black Currant coffee and donut shop). The space was cozy and equipped with plenty of blankets and towels. There were even welcome snacks! A very nice and personal touch. For any seeking to travel with a dog, I would warn against allowing your dog to walk in the yard of the property to the right of this rental. The owners specifically requested that we keep our dog off their property after our dog was seen peeing on the edge of their property line. There’s not an actual grassy lawn for this property and not a lot of non-yard areas to take your pet for bathroom breaks. Even though we did our best to be respectful of everyone’s lawns (cleaning up after our pet and obviously not allowing our pet to wander beyond the perimeter of the yards) we were still confronted.

Great at communication and location of rental. The location was excellent. The decor was really cute. The outdoor space was very good. We loved being able to bring our dog.We enjoyed a few area restaurants: Emma Hearth in Bridgman, Black Currant Bakehouse, and Bougie Boards. All were excellent. Also shopped at Barney's in New Buffalo for groceries. Nice store.

Exactly What We Needed
The owner was super fast and responsive via text. We wanted a spacious spot that had a fireplace/fire pit, close to the lake, with room for multiple adults, our toddler, and a dog...and this location was exactly what we needed. The living area being in the back area was a perfect layout so the adults could stay up late playing board games without waking the toddler in the other room. The kitchen was plenty stocked with supplies we needed to make breakfast/meals.

Great responsiveness and personal detail to each rental. The place was wonderful. My only caveat is that the kitchen is somewhat limiting - no dishwasher and limited counterspace.Proximity to lake, separate living space in basement, fans, fully fenced yard for the dogs

The process was simple. When we had an issue, we called and they came out same day We loved walking to gelato, bakery. We went blueberry picking. Relaxed on the beach. We loved Skips farmers market too.

Excellent Location for a Quaint Vacation
The accommodation were very close to Lake Michigan and the activities we wanted to do on our stay. As a family we wanted to kayak, horseback trail ride through the woods, and enjoy the lake in a quaint and quiet location. The amenities were well kept up in the house. The second bedroom and master bedroom were switched from the diagram however it was nice to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms for our three person family. The renovations that were complete were wonderful! Thank you for a well kept vacation location!
