B's Retreat in Union Pier

B's Retreat is a completely remodeled 1940's cottage on a quiet side street in Union Pier. We have a great location to share with you, only 2500 feet to Townline Road beach and just a block from downtown Union Pier!

B's is on a quiet dirt side road and is perfect for a family of 4 or for 2 couples looking to unwind. B's best attributes are the vaulted ceilings, wide-plank pine floors, bonus kids loft, hot tub, fire pit, our favorite feature is the the 23-foot wide screened in porch!

The closest beach is the Townline Road beach mentioned above, which is just 2500 feet away, about a seven minute walk. There is limited parking here (first come first served) and a fair amount of stairs, so if you are OK walking another 500 feet or so then you can visit McKinley Beach, which has more space and an easier path to the beach (but no parking).

B's is a great getaway for any time of year and the hot tub is open all year also!

Our place is a 700-square ft open concept with vaulted ceilings. We have a complete mini kitchen with gas oven, coffee maker, large fridge, microwave, pots/pans and cooking/baking essentials. We also have a micro dishwasher and storage on our pantry doors for all of your food storage needs. NOTE - during the colder months, we do not have a formal kitchen table/ sitting area. We have a kitchen bar with 2 barstools plus a 2-seater bistro table in living room.

For kids: B's has a basketball hoop located in our gravel driveway (please bring your own basketball to be safe). Inside our place, older/able kids can climb up our library stairs to a fun hangout space. We found a local artisan who built these stairs for us and the treads glow in the dark at night! The loft is equipped with old-school video games, some traditional games, a few bean bags and a couch!

Our bathroom also has a vaulted ceiling, open storage shelves and a few drawers for your bathroom essentials.

Each bedroom is equipped with a dresser, plenty of hooks and some small closet spaces.

B's has a privacy fence around our property to help feel more intimate. We have an in-ground fire pit with Adirondack chairs, a back patio with the hot tub, seating and gas grill. Our favorite outdoor amenity is the large screened-in porch with a full-size picnic style table and lounge area. In the summer, our front yard trees create complete privacy. The hot tub has color changing lights and our outdoor is equipped with various lanterns that illuminate at night.
