Located on Tower Hill Road in Sawyer, Casa Azul sits on a quiet, wooded lot with a large private backyard — just down the road from the area's favorite restaurants, antique shops, and beaches. This beautifully decorated home is well furnished with cozy touches and plenty of space for the whole group to relax.
Step through the front door into a spacious, open-concept living area built for gathering. Plush couches invite you to unwind in front of the TV, while a charming dinette and bar seating offer casual spots for meals and conversation. The gourmet kitchen is outfitted with high-end appliances and a large island for cooking and serving. Down a short hallway, two main-floor bedrooms — one King, one Queen — share a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
Just off the kitchen, a spacious screened porch features outdoor dining and beach chairs ready to grab and go. Upstairs, the bunk room sleeps the kids in style with two twin-over-twin bunks, a double-over-twin bunk, and an additional Queen bed, plus a small TV for streaming. A generous walk-in stone shower upstairs adds a touch of everyday luxury.
Off the screen porch, a hot tub open year-round is perfect for unwinding any time of year, and a fire pit with seating rounds out the backyard for evenings roasting marshmallows after a beach day.
The home offers Comcast internet, two smart TVs with Apple TV (guests use their own streaming logins), and a basement with laundry facilities for guest use. Parking fits three cars in the driveway — no street parking is available in this neighborhood. Please note: no pets allowed.
Warren Dunes State Park is 1.4 miles north and the newly expanded Cherry Beach is 4 miles south; adventurous guests can also walk north on Tower Hill Road to reach the park on foot.

It has a really nice layout for a large family. The kids loved the bunk room upstairs! Great location and we appreciated the amount of seating options in the living room. This was our third stay at Casa Azul. It’s an annual Girl’s trip and we love the lay out of the home. Plenty of beds so we all have our own. We enjoy the large screened in porch with the secluded wooded back yard. The house is located very near Red Arrow Highway which makes getting around very easy. I can’t thank you enough for being so accommodating. My father had a heart attack and we were later than expected on arrival. The host was so understanding and empathetic to our situation. So kind. Thank you again.
The home itself was perfection. Great location. Neighbors weren’t too close and the trees!! The trees were everything. The home is so beautifully curated!! The back porch and hot tub were essential to our vacation.
We laughed, we cried. We genuinely enjoyed this home so much. It was the highlight of our trip. It was so comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to all spread out.

This was the perfect spot for a long weekend get away. So close to the Warren dunes (amazing beach and sunsets all weekend long) plenty of beds and space for the large group of us. Plenty of beach chairs, awesome hot tub, well stocked kitchen and ten minutes from all our favorite spots (three oaks, Union pier, new buffalo) and 2 minutes from the sawyer garden center (a must visit!!) This is our second stay at Casa Azul in Sawyer,MI. This was a girls trip, ages 48-77. We love the open Kitchen/ Living Room with plenty of furniture to sit and relax while we laugh. Love the upstairs Bunk Room that allows us to not double up in bed. I appreciated the consistent responsiveness. (And I think I had a lot of questions before arrival and upon arrival!)It worked well for us but it is a little cramped. The video did a good job of setting my expectations (photos make things look bigger). I specifically wanted a living area with enough comfortable seats for 6 people. And that worked. We had a wonderful time here! The local town is beautiful, with polite locals and a great selection of restaurants. We loved being able to walk on the beach and go on hikes. The place we stayed was extremely clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The fire pit on the back patio was a lovely touch, providing plenty of room for a larger group, though it was just the two of us this time. We felt right at home and are already planning another stay for the winter. We appreciate you having such a wonderful home with everything we needed. Thank you for being such a great host!

This was my second rental in Sawyer. My brother lives within 2 mins. Which was a bonus being able to be so near. My stay was with six other women to celebrate my 70th birthday. We loved the home! I love to cook so made breakfast one morning in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed the screened in porch to dine Al fresco. The home is so convenient to get around the whole area. Casa Azul was the perfect place for our ladies weekend! The house is cozy, well decorated & stocked with just about every kitchen gadget/utensil you could need. We loved using the hot tub & felt the space was a great value.Abby - Posted: 10/31/2021
