Dogwood

The house was awesome and having a split gust house by the pool was also great. The pool is the best designed pool we've seen with an extended area for young kids to play in thats very shallow, and plenty of room where it goes deeper as well. It's run by Third Coast Vacations who were very responsive, albeit not flexible whatsoever in any late checkout requests, without even providing a valid reason such as another group renting the house that night which would've been understandable (vrbo showed it wasnt being rented that night). We would stay here again as the house and yard were great size.

I was concerned that the pictures of the small farm house couldn't possibly equal all the space inside the property - but it did! As promised, the house is wonderful for big families - we had five babies/toddlers under 3 and 91 year-old Granny - because there is space for all. (Including the one family member who wanted to sleep In his tent.)The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. We had one small issue and it was dealt with within the hour by the property manager. The only downside was that he house made things so easy we didn't prioritize spend time in Three Oaks and at the beach in Lakeside.

We had a great mini family reunion here for Fourth of July week. Space for all of us and the pool area was perfect! The house is very private, easy to find, and we found the instructions for the house easy to use. The management company was easy to reach by text even over the holiday weekend when we had an issue with a blown fuse. Things others might find helpful to know that might be hard to tell from the pictures: the pool has a sun deck (great for the little ones!) and stairs into the pool. The guest house is one floor but there is one step into the building from the driveway and the bathroom has a tub/shower combo (important to know if you have people with mobility issues staying in that space). In the main house, two bedrooms are on the third floor which we were concerned about given the 95 degree heat wave happening during our stay, but both rooms are equipped with air conditioners and were quite comfortable. The guest house also has separate air conditioners in the rooms. All the showers in the main house are showers, not tubs (but there is a tub/shower combo in the guest house for kids baths if needed). Overall, it’s an old house but well appointed. There are multiple dishwashers, washer/dryers, and grills- so they are prepared for big groups. The outside could use a little TLC (patio cushions are in rough shape, yard games were in the bushes) but the pool is the reason to come here and it is amazing!

We booked this rental for a 5 day (4 night) family get-away with three households of families. The house had plenty of space for all 12 of us (plus 2 dogs) and wonderful amenities. The pool house was a great option for the older vacationers who preferred a first-floor bedroom, and was just as nice as the main house. The weather was nice, but slightly chilly on one or two days for swimming under normal conditions, but the heated pool was already nice and warm when we arrived and the kids made AMPLE use of it!
Nice amount of privacy/space without feeling like you were in the middle of nowhere. The house had just about anything you can imagine needing in the kitchen, plenty of dining space, couch space, and outdoor seating. Lots of room/sleeping options and a good number of bathrooms/showers for our group.
The house was SO CLEAN too. The rental company was incredibly helpful and proactive. Hoping to make a return trip in the future and will definitely look to book this house again.

Our stay was great, very clean and spacious. Area quiet and very private settings. Plenty of parking for everyone in my family. Guess response was good, communication and was not bothered by anyone. Pool was perfect for our family clean. House has all you needed to cook and have a great meal. Would really recommend it for a nice get away for a large group, it was perfect. Thank you ☺️

Our large group has an amazing long weekend in Three Oaks. Plenty of time at the pool and in the hot tub, as well as having a blast in the large yard. S’mores by the fire pit and even some exploring of the woods.
The house and pool house gave us plenty of space to stretch out and have private time when needed. The beach was just a few minutes’ drive away, and that was a wonderful retreat as well.

We loved this Airbnb! Comfortable for a large group and it was a beautiful space in a great area! Some of the additional beds in rooms were trundle beds, but there was plenty of space. We had an issue with wifi, but they worked with us quickly to resolve the issue. Would definitely recommend!

This property was absolutely perfect for my 40th birthday weekend. It comfortably fit our group of 15. The large and fully stocked kitchen and giant dining table were amazing for a few meals in. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, which made for a very cozy stay in the chilly fall. The host was very responsive and wonderful to work with. I would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to return someday!

Great house for a big group. We had four families converge on Dogwood for a long weekend, and the house worked out really well. Lots of bedrooms and beds, well outfitted for big groups and the house was clean. The pool area and outdoor spaces are the best part of the house, with a lot of room and areas for socializing. We had an exceptional experience at this Airbnb! The home was exactly as described—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, providing clear check-in instructions and great local recommendations.
The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet close to restaurants, shops, and attractions. We especially loved the cozy outdoor seating area for morning coffee and evening wine.

This was my second time staying at this property - I had stayed at it when it was previously managed by Dwell Vacations and thought that the owners’ decision to switch to management by Third Coast was a huge improvement. Twelve of us stayed at Dogwood and the Dogwood Pool House. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. The long table is fantastic for large and small parties alike, and it never feels like you are on top of each other (even with a dozen people staying!). I really appreciated the free laundry facilities! The hot tub is a great bonus (it was too cold to use the pool but it looks great!) and the fire pit is such a lovely way to finish out your evening. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean, the furniture tasteful, and the views of the surrounding woods both beautiful and restorative. You’re so close to some really beautiful primordial forests and it’s nice to not be too far from the conveniences of a town (without being in town). I look forward to staying here again in the future!!
