Welcome to Harborside Haven! Nestled in the heart of New Buffalo, Michigan, this beautifully designed vacation home offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience for an unforgettable stay. Located within walking distance to the marina, New Buffalo public beach, and Oinks Ice Cream Parlor, this property has something to offer all ages and interests.

With 5 bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms, this property comfortably accommodates families and groups with ample space for everyone to relax and unwind.

The main floor of the home features 3 bedrooms with king beds and flat screen TVs as well as a full bathroom. Love to cook? The kitchen overlooks dining and living spaces and features an amazing 8 burner gas stove with double ovens.

Just off the kitchen and dining spaces is a large den with a fireplace, TV, and tons of cozy seating perfect for movies, books, naps, or board games! Between the den and screen porch is a daybed and office nook, in case you need to get a little work done on vacation.

Looking to spend some time outside? The large yard and inviting 3-season porch offer the perfect setting for morning coffee, afternoon reads, or evening cocktails. Step outside to enjoy the pool and firepit area, perfect for splashing all afternoon or toasting up some S’mores under the stars.

Head downstairs for a stocked game room with a pool table, shuffleboard, darts, and a Pac Man arcade game! This home has been recently renovated and the basement features two new bedrooms including a bunk room that sleeps four as well as a bedroom with a new queen bed.

The pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend at least.

No Pets
We can't allow pets, no exceptions can be made either.

How close is the house to downtown?
The house is exactly 5/10 of a mile from the main intersection in downtown and 1 mile to the public beach.

How is the neighborhood?
The homes in the area are a mix of full time residents and second homes. There is an ordinance within the city for quiet hours of 10:00 PM EST to 7:00 AM

Do we have access to the garage?
The owners do have personal belongings in the garage and it is locked off.

This home was in a great location, very walkable to downtown and to the beach. plenty of room and lots of different spaces to congregate. Awesome kitchen, rec room, TV room, dining room etc. Beautiful outdoor seating spaces and heated pool. Everything worked well! We had five cars so those easily fit as well!

Our stay was great for our family. Lots of space in the house. The kids enjoyed the pool. The walk to restaurants, shops and beech was doable with our family (including small kids). We did drive closer to the beech on the second day so we didn’t have to lug our 3 year old plus chairs/umbrella/cooler. The walk to Oinks in the evening was awesome. We checked out a couple of local restaurants and also cooked meals at home. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed! Only suggestion would be to fix the fan/light in one of the upstairs bedrooms so the fan can stay on without the light at night.

This was an incredible space for my family of adults and children. There were many spaces to spend time together throughout the house, and the backyard was perfect for enjoying time outside. The house had everything we needed for enjoyment in terms of seating and entertainment devices, and was clean upon arrival. The neighborhood was also peaceful and a short and easy walk to the main strip of New Buffalo.

I found Third Coast Vacations very easy to work with . A special thanks to Jon! He was so kind, helpful, easy to talk with and very responsive! We thought the home was perfect for our needs. The location was wonderful proximity to town . The pool was lovely and had lots of fun toys. Plenty of seating in the home for all. The house was loaded with games that were enjoyed. A couple issues with the cleanliness being one set of the sheets didn’t appear to be clean and there weren’t any extra sets . Would have loved to have extra shower and beach towels for the amount of people the house can hold. Most everything in the kitchen was lovely but a few items should be updated including pans and baking sheets.. The bath on the first floor had a very slow running drain. But overall we absolutely loved it and our experience with Third Coast.We enjoyed everything especially the pool!

It was a pleasure working with Third Coast Vacations,from how easy it was to make the reservation to any questions I had before check-in. Communication was always prompt. I definitely would recommend them to anyone going to southwest Michigan. Harborside Haven was a great place to stay. Where do I start,so many beds, great family room with very comfy couches,a three season room,close to downtown New Buffalo,and the beach,and of course the pool,spent every afternoon in the poolWe went to Saugatuck one day which is about an hour north of New Buffalo to the Saugatuck Dune rides which is a lot of fun and having perch at Wally's in Saugatuck is a must. Went to Weko Beach in Bridgman been there many a time,it a great beach and at sunset they play taps. Ate at so many New Buffalo restaurants,all good,Stray Dogs,Sonny D's,Brewsters,Casey's,Redamak's,Nancy's,Rainbow Cone,and Oinks. You can tell I never cooked the 5 days we were there

Our Stay

This house was perfect for our group of 8 adults. The house had many opportunities for additional sleeping. In addition to the 4 bedrooms, there was a bunk room and a day bed. The downstairs game room and the beautiful pool was perfect.
