We really enjoyed our stay in New Buffalo. This house was very close to the lake/beach, restaurants and bars, shopping and sightseeing. The host was very communicative and stayed in contact throughout my booking. I would highly recommend this house and any other Third Coast Vacations home in the area. We are very satisfied with our stay!

We love the house. You can walk to a small beach in about a block. Walkable downtown. Beautiful home and so clean. We loved the pool it was warm and spotless. Would definitely rent again.

Our stay was very pleasant! Peaceful and walkable neighborhood. We were a five minute drive away from the public beach with beautiful views. The home provided a relaxing stay; free of clutter, clean bedding and sheets. Would recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at the house. We had 10 guests, 3 of which were children and it was a perfect layout to accommodate all of our party's needs. Third Coast Vacation did a great job communicating with us so we knew everything we needed to do to park, get in, check out, etc.

Amazing stay! We were in town for our annual New Buffalo Trip & my son’s surprise proposal. The home offered everything we needed for a perfect vacation. There was plenty of space for 10 people comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked, love the over size L- shape couch and additional seating & the beds were comfy! It was bit chilly at the beach so we spent a lot of time in the pool. Thank you so very much! Everyone enjoyed their stay!!

Our family had a great time
It was exactly as I expected we drove to the public beach near by.
our kids enjoyed the pool most of all and going for ice cream in town.
Thus is the best family home away from home.

We just love everything about the house and the location! It feels private, but is still within a comfortable walking distance to downtown.We rented kayaks and paddleboards to explore the Galien River----so much fun!

Great house 50 yards from private neighborhood beach access. Very clean, awesome pool and deck area, and well appointed great room and kitchen area. Fantastic for a long weekend. Pool was in the sun most of the day. Only potential challenge is one king and two queen BRs upstairs share one full bath. However there is another en suite full bath attached to King BR downstairs so as long as everyone can share it’s not a problem. Great owners, very helpful and responsive and they provides much of the beach chairs, umbrellas the group needed. Will definitely come back!

The house, pool, beds, proximity to the beach were all awesome. Our family, and extended family enjoyed meals, games and swimming at the house. The location was within easy traveling distance to everything we wanted to do. Hoping to come back again!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location. Being able to walk two houses down to the private beach was amazing. We caught the sunset every night! It is quite rocky, so the kids definitely needed swim shoes. We explored downtown and the public beach as well and everything was easy to get to! The house had a great layout and we loved the large, open family space, screened in porch and patio and of course, the pool!
They were very responsive and customer service oriented. We had an issue at the beginning of our stay and they were over that afternoon and the next day to rectify the issue. They were polite, friendly and wonderful to work with! We would love to come back, but the property could use some easy updates to maximize the experience. A deep clean, fresh paint, new towels, bath mats and new springs on the screen doors.

Mack’s exceeded expectations! The location is ideal. A short walk (less than 100 yards) to the “little beach” as my grandsons called it, and your toes are in the soft sand of a small, private beach and the water of Lake Michigan. The water is a little pebbly – bring your water shoes. A small stream flows into the Lake there and the boys loved playing in it too. It was easy to lug our beach stuff, to run home for naps or lunch, or to walk down for sunset every evening.
The pool was clean and heated to the perfect temperature. The pool deck is loaded with lounge chairs so that everyone can enjoy it together. The living room/dining room/kitchen are large enough that you don’t feel on top of one another. The beds and linens were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. And the kids absolutely loved the bunk beds. There was plenty of kitchenware and starter toiletries. The Weber gas grill was awesome for making a quick dinner. We hated to leave – but we certainly hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay! Close and easy private beach access (which our 2 year old loved), great pool and outdoor amenities at the house. Plenty of space and separation of bedrooms which was great for 2 families staying in one house. Nice (and easy) walk into town along the marina.
Dan was very communicative and helpful throughout and leading up to the stay. We’d definitely rent again!

House was just as expected based on photos, clean, working, and ready to go. We especially loved the back yard, warm pool, and porch with firepit. The front door combination lock made it easy for us to come and go and not worry about who has keys to the house. Our host Dan was responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

It was a good experience, much more information and care, better checkout/exit process than many Airbnbs.Really nice place, great for a group and a dog.We truly booked for the pool, but the open living space was awesome.

We loved our stay at Macks Lakehouse. It was absolutely perfect for our needs as two families with small children. The pool was such an easy activity for us and the quick walk two houses down to the private beach was so convenient. The house is very centrally located so it was a <5 minute drive to playgrounds, larger beach, grocery store, ice cream shops. Would definitely stay again!

This house has it all! Plenty of bedrooms for large families, huge table for eating, open living room/kitchen with plenty of seating options. The outside area was perfect with a screened in porch with plenty of seating, a large table for eating on the patio, a firepit with nice chairs to relax, and the heated pool had lounge chairs and umbrellas. The house is located on a quiet street but is very close to walk in to town or drive to the local restaurants and stores.

Great place in New Buffalo. The home is great proximity to town and an easy walk. We had everything we would need in the kitchen to stay in and cook. The highlight is the nice open concept living/kitchen space so that the entire family can relax including the screened-in porch right off the kitchen.

Macks Lakehouse was the perfect get away. We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday with some friends. The house was fully functional and included all the amenities and accessories that were needed for the weekend trip. The heated pool was a hit.
This house is centrally located near downtown New Buffalo with only a 10min walk to all restaurants.
Would definitely rent this property again.

Fantastic lakehouse! Dan was accommodating and responded to our inquiries quickly, and the property was great. The property was well appointed, the pool was warm and clean, and the screened in porch was great for the summer evenings. The bedroom layout was also excellent for large groups, our family if four adults and two kids had plenty of space!

My family really enjoyed our time at this rental. It's very spacious and had lots of plates, utensils, glasses etc. We really appreciated the working dishwasher and very clean fridge.
We took advantage of the heated pool since the water was too high for the beach, however, we still took a little walk over to the water to enjoy the beautiful view. We also took a nice, 20 minute walk to the large beach in town. We had a great time with the fire pit and loved that the grill was gas for ease of use.
We wished we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the kayaks and bikes.
This was my first time in New Buffalo and if it's yours as well, make sure to go get your fire wood, beer, other provisions early since nearby stores close down by 10.
