Welcome to Modern Living At Lake Michigan! The home is situated on a quiet road across from the Lake Michigan shoreline, this spacious, open-concept home is designed for relaxation and fun.
With hardwood floors and plenty of natural light, this vacation home ensures a memorable lakeside escape. Literally across the street is access to the private neighborhood beach where you can enjoy swimming on sunny days or beach combing. The home accommodates 14 guests, six adults and two children in the main house and three adults and three children in the adjacent guest house.
The spacious, central living space for the home features towering vaulted ceilings and a bank of windows that let in the afternoon sun. The open-concept kitchen is well-equipped and the dining area has a huge harvest table with tons of space for eating, playing games, or reconnecting with those you love.
Tucked behind the living areas is a media room located where you can enjoy Comcast Cable on a flat screen TV and a stereo system. Just off the media room is a well furnished screen-porch perfect for your morning coffee or an afternoon nap. Off the entryway on the first floor is the primary suite featuring a large king-sized bed as well as a fireplace and flat screen TV. Off the primary bedroom is a luxurious bathroom with a deep soaking tub and large custom shower.
Also located on the main floor is a large laundry room with washer and dryer, so you can leave the sand and barbecue stains behind.
Need to do a bit of work on vacation? The office is located upstairs and has sweeping views of the living area. Sit down at the large desk and enjoy the views, both inside and outside of the home! Just off the lofted office are two additional bedrooms with a full-sized bathroom between them. The first bedroom offers a Queen bed and bunk-bed twins with a flat screen TV. And just down the hall is another spacious bedroom with a queen bed and flat screen TV.
The guest house is perfect for a small family or for older children! This studio-style room has a sleeping area and a hang out space. On one side of the room, enjoy your favorite shows on the TV or play some tunes on the stereo! On the other side, rest up for adventure, in a comfy queen bed, bunk beds, a day bed, and a trundle. Off this open-concept room, guests have use of a full bathroom with a shower.
The garage is attached to the guest house and is stocked with beach toys for outdoor fun.
After a day at the beach across the street, come back and relax with a book on the screened porch, or by soaking in the hot tub! End the evening under stars by gathering around the fire pit and lounging in the adirondack chairs!
