Welcome to New Buffs Bungalow, a bright and cozy downtown New Buffalo retreat with retro charm throughout. New Buffalo public beach is just 0.9 miles from the house, and downtown shops and restaurants are an easy walk. Parking is available for up to 4 cars off Norton St. This home shares a property with New Buffs Studio, a separate lofted studio above the detached garage — both can be booked together when dates allow.
Where you'll sleep: Bedroom 1 has a queen bed (new as of 2025) with a large smart TV, Bedroom 2 offers a double bed, and Bedroom 3 has a queen bed — sleeping up to 6 guests.
The entrance opens onto a sunny patio with a fire pit, outdoor dining, and an 8-person hot tub. Inside, the kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee bar (drip and Keurig), and the open-concept living area has a large dining table, cozy retro furnishings, and a smart TV. A large screened porch offers a relaxing spot for morning coffee or a nightcap, and the basement adds a second TV hangout space plus guest laundry.

I stayed here for a girls weekend with three other women. We had a great time! This property was perfect. We spent lazy mornings on the screened in porch drinking coffee. Some of the traffic can be loud because the house is so close to the road, but it didn't affect our sleep.
The downtown is walkable from the property. We did drive to the beach because we wanted to be closer and not have to walk through town in our bathing suits, but parking was easy. The restaurants were amazing.

Nice weekend stay within walking distance to downtown and a quick drive to the casino. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Perfect vacation house
This house was just perfect for me and my partner. Would be perfect for a family with multiple kids or a girls trip. Everything was super clean and up to date. Hot tub was very clean and easy to use. The house is centrally located so we could walk to a few places and got to several beaches fairly easily. My kids loved the ping pong table in the basement. The hot tub was a hit as well. Great little house for a weekend gettaway. The hot tub was perfect and quite large, and the sun room was lovely for reading and relaxing. Although, the town doesn't have the best sidewalk situation, this was still walkable to restaurants, shops, hiking trails, and the beach. The house is right on the main road, but I didn't hear much traffic noise. It was just 2 of us, so the house felt good in size. It probably would've also been fine for 2 couples or a few friends. Overall we were pleased with the size of the home and the amenities. The location allowed us to walk to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. Only deducted one star for location due to the fact this home is on a busy, main road. Great long weekend
I stayed here with my mom, my daughter (10) and her friend for a long weekend in July. It was perfect for our needs, although a second bathroom would have been nice. Although it is on a busy road, it wasn’t overly loud. It has a cozy cottage feel, everything isn’t brand new, but the beds were very comfy and it is clean and functional. It is walkable to downtown, even my mom with a bad knee walked it just fine, but the beach would be a hike. Beach parking is pretty limited so get there early. Nice family getaway
We stayed here for the 4th of July week and it was a great location for walking to holiday festivities. The house was cute and just what we needed. Nice yellow house
The house was very well kept and up to date; while keeping the cottage feel. Very close the downtown AND you could walk to redamaks to put ur name on the list and prob wait on the porch. Hot tub was great If I have to find a minor issue so my review seems honest, there were DVDs & a player but I didn’t see wires to hook it up to a tv.
