Perfect for a quiet getaway in Southwest Michigan. The property can be described as cozy, with a country feel. I'd definitely consider staying there again...would love to experience the summer vibes. Great job!

Nice house with plenty of room to spread out. It looks like the pictures. Very nice outdoor spaces, enjoyed the hot tub. We liked the neighborhood location. You can walk to the beach, about a mile. Shops and restaurants are just a short drive away.

We loved our stay in Union Pier. The house was the perfect place for our family to gather. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, making s’mores and the comfortable beds. We rented bikes and rode to the Farmers Market and a few breweries (Seedz, Barndogg). Can’t wait to return!

I am obsessed with this home and never wanted to leave! Everything about this place was incredible. Brand new home, beautiful and comfy landscape with unlimited indoor and outdoor relaxing chill spaces to hang out and top off your night with a fire and jacoozie, it seriously doesn’t get better than that. 15 mins walk to the beach and couple mins to town with great restaurants, bakery, coffee and ice cream shops near by. I will 100% be back next year for Memorial Day weekend again!

My friends and I loved our stay in this home. Hosts were extremely prompt in responding to our questions and allowed us to check in sooner and later due to it being the off season. The home was clean and beautifully decorated, and the kitchen well stocked with lots of spices and cookware. Hot tub was bubbling when we arrived and plenty hot even during the extreme cold weather we were experiencing. Plenty of towels for both inside and out, and plenty of room for gaming and relaxing. This place had everything we could have wanted, and we can't wait to book again next year.

Third Coast Vacations is easy to work with and fairly priced. Pier Michigan is a beautiful, tastefully decorated home with ample indoor and outdoor space. Comfortable furnishings and beds. We spent time exploring the coastal towns close to Union Pier. Whistle Stop Grocery was a nice breakfast spot to walk to and we enjoyed a delicious meal at Skip’s

I fell in love with this perfect spot to work a week away from home during the summer. The advance communications were extremely helpful as was the welcome goodie bag. I loved the design of the home, its decorating and furnishings and its idyllic property with so many outside options to work and relax. It was in a wonderful location away from summer vacationers but walking distance to town and the beach. Wouldn't change a thing!

Our family enjoyed this perfect, clean, and comfortable home for several days. The owners were VERY accommodating and communicated very well. We have absolutely zero complaints and would definitely visit again in a heartbeat. We have rented many properties in the area and this is one of the best we've ever seen in all categories of cleanliness, comfort, and location. It is conveniently close to everything in the area worth doing/visiting but also nicely tucked away from the busy areas. And the local shops (bakery, eatery, and ice cream) are all delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My wife chose this property based on the decore. She walked in and stated that this was her dreamhouse! The furnishing were beautiful and very clean. The beds/comforters were SO comfy! They had left a beautiful Christmas tree in the living room which gave the room such a warm feeling. Ironically, this home sat in front of my brother's backyard~which told us it was in a wonderful neighborhood. We saw soo many deer too! We highly recommend this cozy home! *Side note~ It was confusing to know which consumables we could use since there was a note about additional fees.

Third Coast Vacations was so helpful and when we arrived and we never had any other needs while we were there I loved staying at this house with my husband and two adult daughters. We have been coming to union pier with two other families for 25 years and this year didn’t disappoint! While we had to drive to the beach, the location was quiet and the house was really beautiful. The outside space was perfect for our communal dinners and the fire pit and hot tub were great for after dinner lounging.

The house was absolutely lovely and charming. The inside was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for my family of five. The firepit and hot tub and outside seating were a fabulous addition, we used it all! The best way to get to the beach for my family was biking. It was a little too far to walk with all the beach belongings and not ideal to find parking near the beach.

We can say enough good things about our stay here … the cottage is amazing - I would say just as pictures but it is even better in person !! So comfortable and cozy. Very clean. Fresh. Good smelling -very important and not always a given ;) …. Amazing setting and great location. Lots of parking. Close to grocery store and restaurants. A lovely mile walk to the beach and water … we loved every minute we spent here ! This will be our new spot when we visit the area from now on ! Highly recommend!!

Our stay was perfect. So many great restaurants nearby and The Roundbarn and St. Julian Tasting Rooms were 5 minutes up the road. The house was clean and beautiful. The house was as advertised, very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the hot tub and there was even wood supplied for the outside firepits. We hiked the near by Warren Dunes. We did a lot of cooking in the house and the kitchen and grill were great. The large, central table was perfect for dinners and games afterward. My daughter said this was her favorite rental house. We would definitely stay there again.

Loved our stay at Pier Michigan - great property and location. Had welcoming touches such as starter kits for toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion) and kitchen/laundry areas. The kitchen is very well stocked with both kitchen tools and plates, cups, etc. Our group really enjoyed the hot tub and it was fully serviced the day we arrived. The only hiccup we had was that the refrigerator was not functioning properly but the property manager called to give us a heads up and provided us with reasonable accommodations. Would definitely stay here again!

We decided to change our normal year to year NYE plans and go away for the weekend- and the house was exactly what we were looking for! The only snafu we had was the fridge went out- but we contacted the management company and within a half hour we had coolers and ice at our disposal for all our food since it was a holiday and it could not get fixed! It worked perfectly!!! The house couldn’t have been cleaner and super accesssible to all the local shops and restaurants! Will definitely stay again!

Just stayed here recently for a girls weekend. It was the perfect winter weekend getaway. The house was lovely. There was a bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us. The space was clean and cozy. It was even spruced up for Christmas. The beds were super comfortable and with 4 of us there we didn't feel on top of each other. The kitchen had everything it needed to cook meals. Electronic lock meant no keys to worry about. Instructions sent beforehand were clear and helpful. 15 min walk from downtown Union Pier. Just a quiet and relaxing place to getaway from every day life. Highly recommend with girlfriends, families or even solo.

We loved our stay. We were greeted with a handwritten note and a local bottle of wine. The house is beautiful, clean, and well appointed. The outdoor area is really the best part. Lots of places to chill, the fire pit is amazing, the yard is huge! It’s on a quaint gravel road and the houses around it are also very nice, and not very close either.
The location is good. Close to many places, day trips, about a mile or so to the beach. The beach is walkable but not walkable if you are carrying a lot of stuff. Limited parking at the beach, though every time we went there was a spot. There is a business down the street that rents bikes and golf carts. The beach is very large and clean and you could walk further up north for quite a while. Union pier town is small, 2 restaurants, a grocery store. It’s only about 5 mins to New Buffalo is you crave more places to shop or eat.
The house needed a bathtub repair while we were there. I missed the voicemail the day before but got a text the next day. It wasn’t a problem since we were out for the day. Didn’t bother me at all. The tub had to dry for 24 hours. It was just me and my 2 kids so we just used the other bathroom. If you had a large group, it might have been a problem.
The house could sleep up to 8 people. Would be a great rental for 2 families with a couple kids.
Last, I have a 2016 Tesla and in the 6 years I’ve had it, it sometimes can be a pain for charging on trips if we’re not close to a supercharger. Mine doesn’t have the distance the new ones have. I could not charge at this house and had to stop at the St Joseph and Benton Harbor chargers. Would not have been necessary if I could have done some trickle charging overnight for my day trips. Something I’ll definitely start adding to my criteria for my next rental.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time at the house and would stay again next time we are in Union Pier.

We were originally going to go with three other people but they couldn’t make it at the last minute. The house was very clean, outside had a good sized yard to play catch and frisbee! We had a great experience and would rent this property again. The only thing we wanted to mention is that upon checking in, we noticed a chair cushion on the front porch that was ripped (looks like an animal got to it) and there were unknown stains in the primary bedroom on one pillow and the comforter. The laundry closet door was also off the track. We just wanted to mention in case you don’t make it inside frequently.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. We had a larger group of 10 but we found the house to be plenty spacious, especially with all of the outdoor spaces. Dan was a great host, he provided us with great recommendations in the area as well as some welcome snacks and wine. The lake is a mile down the road. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, could use some more pans, but other than that you will find everything you need. The house had some beach chairs, and a small cooler for drinks and snacks. We absolutely loved our stay. If you are looking for a very laid back lake town this is a great option.

The house is wonderful for a family vacation. It’s located in a great area near lots of places, but also tucked away enough to feel the comfort of being outside the city. We took long walks, enjoyed the hot tub, and built fires every night. This house exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very responsive when questions came up.
