Description Description
Welcome to Samsara Lake House, a bright and spacious retreat about 1,000 feet from Lake Michigan beach access at Stop 41. Designed for easy relaxation and group gatherings, this 5-bedroom, 4-bath home sleeps up to 12 and blends classic coastal style with comfort and space. With open-concept living areas, a finished basement, a loft game room, and wooded views throughout, it's the perfect home base for your Harbor Country getaway.

Please note: local ordinances require a 7-night minimum stay from May 1 through September 30. We're unable to approve shorter reservations during this window.

Living Area Open-concept great room with vaulted ceilings and natural light. Cozy seating with a large Smart TV for movie nights, wide-plank hardwood floors, and sliding doors out to the back deck and outdoor dining area.

Kitchen & Dining Fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops and a gas stove. Bar seating for casual meals or morning coffee, plus a large dining table with seating for ten.

Sleeping arrangements (sleeps 12, 4 baths):

Primary Queen Suite (main floor) — queen bed, ensuite full bathroom with walk-in shower, wooded views
Queen Bedroom 2 (main floor) — queen bed, near the main hall bathroom
Queen Bedroom 3 (main floor) — queen bed, shared full bathroom
Queen Bedroom 4 (lower level) — queen bed, off the finished basement suite, full bathroom access
Large Sleeping Room (lower level) — four twin beds in an open-concept space, great for kids or young adults, access to a full bath and the laundry room

Loft Game & Media Room Foosball table, a media lounge with Smart TV for gaming or movie nights, and an additional full bathroom for convenience.

Outdoor Living Deck with outdoor dining and wooded views. A fire pit with Adirondack chairs is perfect for s'mores and stargazing, and the front patio offers partial Lake Michigan views. It's an easy 1,000-foot walk to Stop 41 Beach access.

Additional Amenities Full laundry room on the lower level, high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TVs throughout, beach gear and chairs available for guest use, and central air conditioning and heating.

We had a great time here and would recommend it. A great house with wonderful open floor plan. Very close to the beach as advertised. We would book this house again. From the dining room there is a bit of a view of the lake between the neighbor's houses. I'm surprised that wasn't noted in the Airbnb advertisement because we enjoyed seeing a glimpse of the lake from there. We enjoyed the deck for lunch and many evenings. Nice deck.
As noted earlier, the floors were gritty and sandy. Cleaning crew needs to do a better job on the floors. All mattresses were great except in the kids room. Those mattresses were terrible. The yard was okay but if someone would spend just 30 minutes cleaning it up, it would be a great improvement. Two old grill grates laying around along with a grill cover scattered on the yard. A bent-up section of downspout and an abandoned rug laying around. And many other things. Its a great place but spend a few minutes cleaning up the junk in the yard.

Wonderful home with easy access to the beach! Dishwasher was not working, but other than that, our extended family made awesome memories.

Feedback - It would have been helpful to know there wouldn't be basic toiletries or a hair dryer. I think most people expect this for overnights.

The location and cleanliness were superb. There was a lack of any spices. The grill did not have enough propane, but THird Coast did respond to need for more.Location and layout of rooms.
