Description

Where you'll sleep: the main-level primary suite has a king bed with a private soaker tub and custom tile shower. Upstairs, three bedrooms each offer a queen bed alongside a large rec room with a Smart TV and lake views. The lower level is set up for kids or extra guests, with three twin trundle beds and a full bathroom — 5 bedrooms and 10 beds in total.

Step outside to the expansive deck, where chaise lounges and a hot tub look straight out over the water. A private staircase leads directly down to the beach, so the shoreline is always just steps away.

Shore Thing is just over a mile from downtown New Buffalo's restaurants, shops, and grocery stores, and about a 75-mile drive from Chicago via I-94 — close enough for an easy escape, far enough to feel like a true getaway.

Whether you're gathering for sunset dinners on the deck, unwinding in the rec room, or combing the shore for beach glass, Shore Thing is built for making memories with the whole group.

This property is lovely and amazing. It is right on the beach, just down some steps. There are amazing views and the host is responsive and super helpful. You can walk 20 minutes into town. There are lots of beds and bathrooms and the hot tub is great too. Perfect for a girls weekend!

We highly recommend had a stay at this property, located in a convenient, private area of the lakeshore. A couple of early concerns in our stay -- needing more towels, for example, were quickly addressed. It was easy to communicate with the property managers.
A bonus to this location was the ability to park inside the garage. The stairway to the beach was sturdy and convenient, including a couple of landings with built in benches, for those who wanted to sit and enjoy the view for a while. This beautiful home has views of the lake from most of its rooms and its three terraces and two stone-paved decks. The primary suite is spacious, with a desk/work area.
The property's location, views, space, cleaniness and updated design (a blend of country French and coastal touches) made this a special place to getaway. We hope to return.
