Description

The home sits on a unique lot with sweeping views of the Galien river and marshlands, in the distance you can see the overlook at the Galien River Country Park.

This 5 bedroom, 3 ½ bath home sleeps 10 with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and unwind. Not only are the views breathtaking, the home is walking distance to Sturgeon Beach and sandy Lake Michigan Beaches.

Walk into the home and take in the open concept main living area with a large TV, designer furniture and a beautiful dining room table with top grain leather chairs and seating for 10. The huge kitchen has brand new everything with white quartz countertops and high end appliances.

Just off the dining area you’ll find a sunroom and french doors which open onto the lower level deck. The views from the home are unlike any in the area and give the home a secluded and tranquil feel.

There is also a half bathroom and a stackable washer and dryer available for guests to use. On the other side of the main floor is a large master suite with a king size bed. The bathroom off the main floor master features a luxurious walk in shower with body jets.

When you head upstairs you’ll find a professionally decorated secondary living space with a sectional, TV, bar top, wine fridge, and high top table. To the left of the stairs is a second master suite with a full bathroom and walk in shower.

Continuing down the hall are 3 more bedrooms and a large main bathroom with soaker tub that services the upstairs guests. Two of the bedrooms feature Queen beds and one features 2 twin beds with a desk.

Just got back from a 3 night stay at this house with 9 people. We had a great stay and the house was clean and spacious. The very short walk to the beach was our favorite.

The house was clean and spacious and more! The main living area has great windows looking out the back of the house to a meadow, creating such a private and peaceful feeling. We didn't cook, but the kitchen was also spacious. Finally, I was not familiar with that part of Michigan, but this house is in a great location: private neighborhood with access to a stunning beach on the lake.

Our family had a great time in this house. It is very spacious and clean. The kitchen is large with everything we needed to fix meals and keep children happy. The beds were very comfy and the location is private and quiet. We loved the large decks that look over the marsh and river in the back. It was like being in a tree house for our little ones. The walk to the beach was short and the house came with a beach wagon to carry the chairs, towels and beach toys which were already there. A nice plus! There were plenty of restaurants close by to get meals, plus parks and nature preserves to explore. Highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a lovely place to stay!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

We had a group of 9 women staying at the house for a long weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. There is so much space and the listing photos are an EXACT representation of what it looks like. The location/neighborhood were probably my favorite part... A very short walk to the beach, a short drive to town, and a quiet/safe neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved the house and its location. We VERY much appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with good knives, cookware and plenty of paper products. The house layout was perfect for hanging out with our adult children, and also allowed everyone to have their own. We loved staying at Vista del Rio and will certainly look at Third Coast Vacation properties for our next trip to Michigan! comfortable spaces to retreat and work when needed.

Yo've got some of the best locations for semi-rich people looking for vacation rentals. Oh, the view out the back! Oh the neighborhood! Oh the beach!We traipsed back and forth to the beach several times a day, because it's a beautiful beach, a pretty walk to it, and it's convenient to Vista Del Rio. We ate at Bread+Bar and although we couldn't eat on their truly gorgeous and comfortable patio that evening, the food and service and ambiance was in full swing. And the European Farmer's Market at Skip's is a joy.

Best of Views

My sisters and I converged at the beach neighborhood house to celebrate my 70th birthday. We all enjoyed the house, especially the the back deck: an unobstructed view of the Galien River flowing through its wetlands. The beds were all comfortable and the dining table had room for everybody. The area is scenic and cultural, in a Midwestern way. We all recommend it.

We stayed at this gorgeous home for a bachelorette party of 10 girls for 3 nights. We had the most relaxing weekend filled with cozy nights on the patio, a rainy day watching a movie, and an entire beach day where we were able to walk to the private beach that was walking distance from the house! This is absolutely the best rental in New Buffalo and we hope we can come back sometime to stay again!!!

Laundry upstairs and downstairs. Spacious bedrooms. Incredible view with an amazing 3 season porch we enjoyed quite often over our week stay.
Very short walk to private beach and walkable to town.
Loved every minute of our stay.
Property managers were quick to answer questions and helped with the many details that made it a magical time for our family.

Excellent in every way.

The house was fantastic for our two families (five kids). The two living rooms were great for hanging out, the kitchen was excellent for cooking, and the private beach access was perfect. The quiet neighborhood and the proximity to New Buffalo's amenities make this house the ideal place to stay.
