This fantastic home is located in the heart of New Buffalo, nestled in a quiet neighborhood close to the marina and the beach,  as well as downtown shops and restaurants. Although the location is central, the lot is quiet and peaceful with plenty of spots for outside rest and relaxation. 

The main house has two levels. On the main level, the door opens into an open concept living area with comfortable seating circles around a large flat screen TV and gas fireplace. Off the living room is a dining table with seating for 6 next to a spacious kitchen with new appliances and ample counter space.

On the other side of the living area is a spacious master bedroom featuring a king bed. The master opens to full bathroom en suite with double sinks and tub/shower as well a large walk in closet.

Around the corner from the living area guests can take advantage of a private study with a powder room and laundry area just down the hall. Off the study a beautiful slider opens to a deck with seating, a grill, and patio access

On the upper level are two bedrooms and another full bath with tub and shower. The smaller bedroom includes a queen size iron bed and storage for clothing. The larger bedroom features a semi-private area with two twin beds and a larger area with a king size bed, a large cozy leather chair and a flat screen TV. 

The separate cottage guest house sits next to a creek which runs alongside the property. It has one bedroom with queen size bed, a full bath, kitchenette with microwave, television, and a DVD player. 

The property is surrounded by mature trees on 2 sides and features a creek that runs down the southern edge of the property. There is a sweeping grassy back yard for outdoor games and activities. Or you can just sit back and relax on the wraparound deck of the cottage, the porch swing by the creek, by a roaring fire in the fire pit, or enjoy a soak in the new hot tub. 

This home is perfect for large family gatherings or groups looking for peace and quiet while still being close to the main attractions New Buffalo has to offer. 

Please note that we accept weekend rentals during the non-summer months as well. Hot Tub is open year round!  The water to the cottage may be turned off during Dec, Jan, Feb, March.  The cottage is warm and heated and available for use and sleeping.  There are water line freezing issues with the cottage and may be shut off.  Please confirm before booking.

How about parking?
There is parking for 4 cars in the driveway.  There is no street parking allowed.  You will be ticketed.  If you go out of the house and look to the left, there is free city parking right along the boat storage facility.  You can park extra cars and there is no timelimit for being there.  

What type of coffee maker is in the house?
The home has a keurig coffee maker

Grill?
There is a gas weber grill at the property.

Is the beach walking distance?
Yes, it is but if you are going to be bringing a bunch of items / small children, it would be a lot to move.  You could always have someone drive you there and drop off or park at the beach also.  A full day of parking is only $12.

Are you close to the Marina Grand Resort?
Absolutely, you can walk there in 2 - 3 minutes time.  It's right around the corner.

Is the hot tub open all year round?
Yes, we do keep the hot tub running all year round

Does the cottage have heat / air conditioning?
Yes, it does have both.  

You mentioned the garage is an extra space.  What is it like?
We have a dining table, chairs, outdoor furniture, flat screen TV with cable and a smaller refrigerator out there.  Plenty of space to gather and also plenty of space to store your personal items, bikes, coolers, etc.
