Newly built in stunning, contemporary farmhouse style, this six-bedroom home is tucked away on a private stree in Lakeside and is located less than 1/3 mile walk from one of the best Lake Michigan beaches in the area. 

This property features a gorgeous, five-bedroom main home with a separate one-bedroom guest cottage located above the detached garage as well as a ton of extras like a heated, in-ground pool with a retractable cover,  hot tub, screened porch, and a firepit with cozy seating. 

The main floor features an open-concept living space with an expansive kitchen that includes an enormous island, high end appliances, and plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen itself looks through the screen porch and onto the home's amazing backyard space. Just off the kitchen is a room seating area and dining space with a built-in bar and wine fridge as well as an extra set of French doors onto the porch and hot tub area. 

Off the other side of the kitchen you'll find laundry facilities and an exit to the pool space as well as a full bathroom with a gorgeous walk-in shower. The main floor also features an office space / den perfect for reading, napping, or catching up. 
As you walk to the second floor, you'll find a master bedroom with a king-size bed and beautiful en-suite bathroom. The second floor also features a bedroom with 2 twin beds and another with a King bed that is connected with a Jack and Jill style bathroom. A fourth bedroom and a lovely reading nook complete the second floor. 

Head up to the third floor, which is perfect for teens and older kids as it features 3 sets of bunk beds, a full bathroom and a lounge space with a couch, TV, and arcade-style basketball game.

How far away is the beach from the property?
The nearest beach access point is within three-tenths of a mile, across the street from the Lakeside Inn.  Walk west on Lakeside Lane toward the lake and then turn right onto Lakeshore Dr. The stairs to the beach are located across from the front walkway to the Lakeside Inn. Please note that there is no parking, which keeps the beach traffic down a tad.

Parking
There is parking for five cars in the driveway, no street parking is allowed in this neighborhood.

Is there private access for the guest house?
Yes, there is separate access for the guest house.  If you take a look at the images, the access point is alongside of the pool area.

Is the garage accessible?
The garage is locked off from guest use.  Sorry.

When is the pool open?
The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  If you are interested in reserving time after Labor Day and would like use of the pool, please contact us to discuss. It would depend on when you are interested in arriving.  Fees may apply.

Yes, the city permit number is:  CR2021-0050

Are there any cameras at the house?
Yes, there are exterior cameras for security but they do not point at any private locations such as pool or hot tub areas

Is there a cover for the pool?
Yes!  There is a retractable pool cover which is accessed by a code to open / close.  We recommend keeping the cover closed at night (to retain pool heat) and if you have smaller children, it is a critical safety feature.

What type of coffee maker is in the house?
There is a cuisinart drip coffee maker with the filter inside.  There is also an espresso coffee maker.  You will find pictures and descriptions of the devices in the guidebook which we send to you a few days prior to your arrival
