Welcome to Cross Creek Estate, another great home offered by Third Coast Vacations, a full-service vacation rental company run by locals who love Harbor Country. When you book with us, you aren’t just getting another vacation rental company, you’re getting access to the area’s experts. We know where to go because we live here and we love it.
If you happen to not need all this space, we have the ability to reserve just the guest house (with access to the pool) for a smaller stay. Total occupancy would be 6 with access to the pool! Cross Creek Cottage!

Welcome to Cross Creek, a stunning Harbert property with main home, guest house, and large, private, in-ground pool. We just added this house to our roster in late 2023 and this one has it all! From the moment you pull into the driveway you will be impressed with this property. The lot itself is wooded and private, with mature trees and a lovely creek running between the main house and the guest house.
Cross Creek Pool House provides the best of both worlds! In addition to the large in ground pool, a private association beach is reached via a short walk down a lovely tree-lined private road. A beach wagon and Tommy Bahama beach chairs are provided and the large sandy shore includes racks for beach chairs and toys during your stay. Please make sure they get back to the house of course.
The main home features a large, wrap-around porch that connects to a screen porch. When you enter the house you’ll find a large living room with cozy furnishings and classic details. Off the living room is a stunning dining area that leads to a custom chef’s kitchen. The main house kitchen features a 6 burner Wolf gas range, built-in french-door fridge, coffee station, cookware, serveware, and more.
Just down the hall from the kitchen is the Master suite with King bed and private, full bathroom. Next door to the master is an entertainment room with a large sectional and 75” flat-screen TV.
Head upstairs for 2 more bedrooms: One with four twin beds (3 shown and a trundle) and another bedroom with a Queen bed and work space. The upstairs also features a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and penny tile floors. Not shown in pictures, a yoga and workout room for guest use.
Stroll across the yard to the guest home, which overlooks the fully-fenced and private inground pool area. The guest house has the vibe of a classic Harbor County cottage with vintage charm and a huge screen porch with a large TV and plenty of room for the whole gang to gather!
Next to the deck is a gas fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs for family and friends to gather and enjoy the towering trees and fireflies that define Michigan evenings.
The guest house features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with a claw-foot tub and cozy fireplace. The first bedroom features a twin bed and lots of natural light, the second bedroom has a Queen with wool blankets, and the third bedroom serves as a master for the guest home with a Queen bed, a twin and an ensuite bathroom.

Parking
There is parking for five cars in the driveway - no parking on the street please (you won't need it)
Private Association Beach
Cross Creek has rights to access the Main Drive neighborhood private beach in Harbert. There is no parking so it's relatively peaceful but will be busy in the summer. Just walk 4/10 of a mile north on Main Dr - click here for an approximate map. There are 96 stairs down to the beach with a few rest points along the way.
Pool Season
The pool is open from the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day annually - please let us know if you are interested in times just outside of that window and we can try to help!
Coffee
Main house has a drip coffee pot and an espresso machine, the guest house has a drip coffee pot.

There is a gas fire pit, please be safe
